| ob Description: | About company: • One of the oldest, most respected brands in Ayurvedic & Cosmetic Manufacturing Industries in India Job title: GM / DGM, Manufacturing Operations / Plant Head Job location: Vadodara, Gujarat Educational qualification: B.Pharm / M.Pharm preferably with MBA with relevant work experience of managing cosmetic production manufacturing plant Work experience: • Around 18 years to 25 years of work experience with cosmetic production manufacturing plants • Minimum of 8 years to 12 years of work experience as Plant Head / Factory Head / Unit Head with cosmetic manufacturing plant • Should have knowledge of knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources) • Should be familiar with industry standard equipment and technical expertise • Should have knowledge of production process, safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes • Should have good leadership skills KRAs: • Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations • Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards • Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping • Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results • Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus • Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions • Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff • Collect and analyse data to find places of waste or overtime • Commit to plant safety procedures • Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets • Address employees’ issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements • Influence and learn from below • Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts • Strategizing and planning modules to achieve production requirements in compliance for short term and long term • Responsible for On-Site activities like production, QA, QC, Stores, Maintenance etc. • In compliance to zero-day audit readiness. Effective utilization of resources. • Review of all departments on periodic basis • To implement and monitor ISO, GMP and such improvement initiatives. • Manage good industrial relations. • Provide expense report on a monthly basis, weekly basis CTC: No bar for right candidates |
