| Job Description: | About company: • One of the world’s largest Agro-chemical company, having business operations in more than 100 countries across the globe Job title: MRO Buyer Job location: Vadodara, Gujarat Educational qualification: B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) with relevant work experience Work experience: • Around 5 years to 8 years of work experience as ‘MRO Buyer’ / purchasing of MRO, services, etc. preferably with Agro-chemical or Chemical or Pharma companies • Familiarity with MRO suppliers, service and spares, etc. • Knowledge of GST, Taxation, etc. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience in SAP / ERP is must Job profile: • Coordinate all MRO activities to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing and receipt of necessary spares, services from supplies to ensure continued operations. • Liaise with vendors, setting up purchase orders, and negotiating cost of MRO and production, Eng dept. requirements. • Raising RFQ to suppliers, analysis and negotiate quote with the specification and availability of items and places MRO orders. • Accurate and timely processing of all purchase orders according to Purchase Policy. • Manage the day-to-day business relationship with suppliers, Plant Eng. Team through supporting activities including ordering, communication, delivery, issue resolution, sharing of end-user feedback, follow up on open Pos. • Develop a strong understanding and knowledge of suppliers and capabilities. • Manage supplier relationships to ensure continuity of good and services that meet the quality, service and price performance standards of the company. • Drive implementation of service contracts, AMC agreements with supplier along with commercial terms and scope of work. • Works closely with Finance teams to expedite receiving and AP processes, advance payments, debit note, credit note, procure to Pay process. CTC: Rs 5.0 lpa to Rs 6.0 lpa (depends on current CTC, relevant work experience & qualification) |
