Job Description: | About company: • Leading Logistic / Shipping company Job title: Custom Officer Job location: Anand, Gujarat Educational qualification: Any graduate with relevant work experience Work experience & skills: • Around 5 to 8 years of work experience in a freight forwarding companies • Strong attention to detail • Planning and organisation skills • Microsoft Excel/Word / Outlook express email. • Excellent in written / reading and speaking in English. Job Profile: • Checking / Drafting emails in relations to Imports shipments. • Processing import documentation • Liaising with shipping lines and freight forwarders • Assisting with Accounts payable/receivable • Data entry in System Software • Coordination of all the international air import & export movements for various customers to the organization • Managing commercial terms of freight, arrival confirmation and pre-alert details & managing demurrage. • Responsible for customer service internally, bookings, documentation, and execution of routing for assigned shipments. • Verify that shipments are processed through customs for both import and export cargo. • Assists the day-to-day operations of the import and export departments to ensure that customer requirements are met. • Responsible for communicating information and instructions to/from vendors. • Trace shipments through transit points up to final destination and advice customer service as needed CTC: No bar for right candidates Work time: • Monday to Friday (4.0 am IST to 11.00 am IST) |
